Free Local Placement Advisors · Coastal Orange County
The right care home for someone you love — found with a local guide, not a search engine.
We're placement advisors based on the Laguna coast who help families compare licensed assisted living, memory care, and board-and-care homes nearby — matched to care needs, personality, and budget. It's unhurried, honest, and there's nothing to sell you.
Before We Talk About Options
You didn't expect to be doing this today.
Maybe it was a fall, or a discharge nurse handing you a folder and a deadline. Maybe it was just noticing, on a Sunday visit, that Mom hadn't been eating right. However it started, you're now supposed to become an overnight expert in RCFE licensing, board-and-care versus memory care, and which of a dozen websites is actually telling you the truth about availability.
That part — the part where you're doing it all alone, at 11pm, with a search engine — is the part we take off your plate. You still make every decision. You just don't make it by yourself.
How It Works
Four steps, usually two weeks — faster if you need it to be.
No portals to log into, no forty-question intake form before we'll talk to you. Just a straightforward process built around what families actually need at each stage.
Tell us what's going on
A 15-minute call about care needs, personality, budget, and how much time you have. We listen first.
Get a short, honest list
Three to five licensed homes that actually fit — not a directory of everything within twenty miles.
Tour together, or we go first
We'll walk the homes with you, or scout them ourselves ahead of time if you're coordinating from out of town.
Move in, with support
We stay reachable through move-in and the weeks after, in case the fit needs any adjusting.
Why Families Work With Us
We're built to be on your side of the table.
Local to the coast, every week
We work the Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Dana Point, and Aliso Viejo care landscape constantly — we know which homes have real openings, not just a listing that's gone stale online.
Always free to families
Our fee is paid by the community you choose — the same way an apartment locator gets paid by the property, not the renter. It never changes the guidance you get from us.
We compare — we don't sell one place
We don't own or operate any of the homes we recommend, so your list isn't limited to one building's beds. It's the same list we'd hand our own family.
Vetted, not just listed
Every home on your list is confirmed licensed, and we've either visited or personally vetted the operator before it ever reaches you.
Types of Care We Help Place
Not sure which one fits? Most families aren't at first — that's part of the call.
Assisted Living
Daily support with meals, medication, bathing, and dressing, inside a larger community setting with more amenities and social life.
Learn more →Residential Care / Board & Care
Smaller, licensed homes — often six beds or fewer — with a higher staff-to-resident ratio and a quieter, family-style pace.
Learn more →Memory Care
Secured environments with specially trained staff for Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, in both community and home-style settings.
Learn more →Respite & Recovery Stays
Short stays after a hospital or rehab discharge, or while a family caregiver travels, recovers, or simply needs a break.

"You'll never hear us push a home because of who pays us. We tell you what we'd tell our own parents."

1
We answer the phone ourselves
No call center, no ticket queue — you'll talk to the same advisor from first call through move-in.
-
2
We tell you the hard truth early
If a budget doesn't match the level of care needed, we say so on day one — not after a wasted week of tours.
-
3
We stay after the move-in date
The first month is often the hardest to adjust to. We check back in — you're not handed off once the paperwork's signed.
Questions Families Ask
The honest answers, before you have to ask.
Is this really free for our family?
Yes. Licensed communities pay us a placement fee when a family moves in — similar to how an apartment locator is paid by the property, not the renter. It costs you nothing, and it never changes which homes we recommend.
Are you a facility, or do you own the homes you recommend?
Neither. We're independent placement advisors based on the Laguna coast. We don't own or operate any of the homes on your list — which is exactly why the list isn't limited to one building's availability.
Do you only work with homes inside Laguna Beach itself?
Laguna Beach has very few licensed care beds within city limits — it's a small coastal city with high land costs. Most families end up placing nearby, in Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Newport Beach, or Dana Point. We'll walk you through that trade-off honestly rather than pretend Laguna Beach has more options than it does.
How do you vet a home before recommending it?
We confirm current state licensing, check recent inspection history, and either we or a trusted colleague have personally visited the home. If a home doesn't check out, it doesn't make your list.
We need to place someone within days — can you still help?
Yes. Urgent placements, often right after a hospital or rehab discharge, are common. We keep an active read on which homes have real, same-week availability for exactly this situation. See our urgent placement guide for what to expect.
What if we're not sure what we can afford?
Tell us the range you're working with and we'll show you what's realistically available at that price, including board-and-care homes that often cost less than larger communities — and we'll flag if VA Aid & Attendance or long-term care insurance could help. See our cost guide and paying for care guide for more.
